Having undergone an extensive restoration, this 1969 GT500 Cobra Jet is in remarkable condition throughout. Originally a home-office reserve special-order car #2694. It was ordered with a 3.50:1 Traction-Lok differential, a close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission, power steering and front power disc brakes. It is, of course, powered by the famed and fabled 428/335 HP V-8 engine, and is documented with its Shelby invoice, build sheet and a deluxe Marti Report.Every year, Shelby Mustangs seemed to improve and mature, get quicker and faster and discover a whole new way for style; Of the 1452 Shelby GT 500 produced only 445 had the close ratio 4-Speed transmission and 69 were candy apple red and only 1 came with this factory 8 track tape player
