A smooth shifting Ford-O-Matic Transmission delivers power to pavement. The E-Code example is a sought-after variant that featured the optional 312ci V8 Engine, which produced an impressive 270hp/336lb-ft of torque. This engine had a longer bore, longer stroke, higher compression ratio, and an automatic choke compared to the other engine options available for the Thunderbird. It is one of the most desired versions of the 1957 Thunderbird, as there were only 1,449 produced. This fabulous Thunderbird is an all numbers matching example and has factory options that include; power steering, power brakes, a Town & Country radio, and the trademark Porthole hardtop.
