This custom built 1949 Chevy model 3100 pick-up trailer was first fabricated and manufactured beginning with a beefy all steel frame and a 2,500 lb. axle.
The basic trailer frame was constructed at a cost of $4,975.00.
The entire truck bed, including side panels, fenders front bed panel, tailgate, Rear cross-sill, roll pan and trim were purchased new from Golden State parts of Carson City, Nevada at a cost of $1875.00.
The wheels, tires Warn winch, located in the center of the bed was used to hold down a helium Advertising balloon, which brings the total "hard cost" to rebuild this little red trailer at about $7500.00
