1959 BMW Isetta 300cc Sliding Window
Completely restored 1959 BMW Isetta 300cc sliding-window.
Frame off restoration; powder coated frame in black, reconditioned steering wheel, new horn button, new universal rubber joints and all new exterior rubber gaskets.
New bumpers, original nerf bars, windshield wipers and sunroof. New window tracks on side sliding windows, with new rubber for front and back window glass.
New tires, mounted and balanced and the rims have been powder coated white.
Paint, interior and carpet refurbished.
Newly rebuilt engine including bored cylinder, new piston, timing chain, valves, guides and bearings, new gaskets and seals, points and condenser and clutch disk.
After market Keihin carburetor, new battery and air filter, and fuel tank refurbished.
Rebuilt brake system with all new brake lines, 4 new shocks (front and back), rebuilt front suspension with all new bushings and seals.
Transmission was disassembled, inspected and is in excellent condition with new bearings, seals, and gaskets.
We have original carburetor and spare tire.
Has a clear California title and it is registered, complete with luggage rack.
This is our 4th Isetta restoration.
We try to use as many original parts when restoring an Isetta.
This Isetta has been to several car shows and draws a lot of attention.
