1969 Chevrolet
Camaro Coupe
In 1971 a Dodge Challenger Pace Car had a deadly crash at the Indy 500 Race.
Due to this, no manufacturer wanted to enter a pace car for the 72 Indy 500. Hurst stepped up to the plate and developed the first ever ânon manufacturerâ pace car. Out of all the Hurst Olds cars, the 72 was the smallest production number.
Only 629 cars were made and only 499 were hardtops.
All cars came with the 455 motor, the Hurst Dual Gate Shifter, and W-25 Ram Air Hoods.
The cars also have extremely reflective gold stripes that show up extra bright at night.
This car has some rare options such as factory AC (presently not working, but in the car) 3:42 Posi Rear End, and factory Outside Air Thermometer (both very rare).
This car has gone through a complete restoration and is numbers matching.
The interior is original but the car has had a repaint.
Motor and transmission have been rebuilt. This car runs great and looks awesome.
