This is an outstanding early production example of the rare and desirable First Generation T-Bird, which is finished in Torch Red, and has only pampered sunny-day miles since an older restoration showing excellent.
Converted to modern 12-volt electrical system.
Other unique features for this T-Bird are Kelsey Hayes chrome wire wheels with wire whites, rear fender skirts, and the exhaust pipes exiting through twin gleaming chrome bumper guards, which are bolted to the brightly shining chrome rear bumper - this neat detail was only on the '55 T-birds.
